With the release of the new batch of One Piece Vivre Cards, Eiichiro Oda has yet again surprised the fans with some new information about the Straw Hat Pirates, Sabo, and Jewelry Bonney. The new set of Vivre Cards was released on July 4, 2024, and they have stirred up the rivalry between Roronoa Zoro and Vinsmoke Sanji fans.

The recently released Vivre Card focused primarily on the character’s role in the Egghead Island arc, but they have shared cryptic information about Zoro that might not be liked by Zoro fans but is being used by Sanji fans to celebrate. In Zoro’s Vivre Card, Oda has not officially mentioned the use of Color of Conqueror’s Haki.

This is a big issue for Zoro fans, as the character has used Conqueror’s Haki quite a few times in One Piece since the Wano arc. Thus, the Zoro and Sanji fans started an online debate about Oda casting doubt on Zoro’s ability to use Conqueror’s Haki despite his battle with Kaido.

Eiichiro Oda Might be Doubtful About Zoro’s Conqueror’s Haki

One Piece fan account @pewpiece shared the details revealed in the Vivre Card on X, and while most of the details are pretty common, there have been some interesting aspects introduced in the current Vivre Cards. One of them is the type of Haki that each character could use. While Luffy has been confirmed to use all three forms, Zoro and Sanji can only use two of them.

The colors of Conqueror’s Haki, which Zoro has used during his battle with Kaido, have not been mentioned officially in the data.

However, it has been hinted in the background where it is mentioned that Zoro’s blade emitted a black flash during the battle of Onigashima, and a question has been raised as to whether Zoro has the qualities of a king or not.

There is a chance that Oda might be using this information to introduce something big later in the One Piece story, as it has happened before. Additionally, the mangaka has mentioned extra details about the swordsman, claiming he makes his way to become the King of Hell with the Three-Sword Style.

Sanji Fans Are Celebrating

Zoro and Sanji’s rivalry has always been an interesting debate among One Piece fans, and Zoro’s Vivre Card not confirming Conqueror’s Haki has given Sanji fans the opportunity to mock Zoro’s fans as the character has always been presumed superior to Sanji. This makes the two characters equal in terms of Haki abilities.

Thus, when Zoro’s Vivre Card was shared on X, Sanji fans started celebrating the fact that Zoro was not above Sanji.

While Zoro fans were shocked to find out that Oda did not add Conqueror’s Haki, Sanji fans got a reason to tease Zoro’s enthusiasts.

Although Eiichiro Oda has not yet officially confirmed Zoro using Conqueror’s Haki, there have been multiple pieces of events in the One Piece manga and anime series where the character has proved himself to be the wielder of the qualities of the king. Thus the only interpretation that seems logical is that Oda might be saving this for something big in the future.
