LeBron James is arguably the biggest star in the NBA right now. He has a huge fan following, including legends and athletes from other sports. Recently, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Legend Ric Flair expressed his support for the Lakers star and criticized a popular ESPN anchor, Alan Hahn.

Flair called out Hahn on X (formerly Twitter) for labeling the 39-year-old LeBron James ‘old man.’ He then flaunted the Lakers star’s recent accomplishments and spectacular performances that have stunned fans worldwide.

“I’m Sorry To Report To You @alanhahn That LeBron Recorded Another Triple Double A Year After You Called Him An Old Man. You Stupid SOB. It’s So Embarrassing To Have You Report About Sports. When I See You On @GetUpESPN Or@FirstTake, I Turn The TV Off. @KingJames, Triple Double. The @Lakers March On! WOOOOO!”, wrote the WWE legend.

Ric Flair was impressed by LeBron’s dazzling performances and went on social media to defend his favorite basketball player. He reminded Alan that Bron recorded a triple-double a year after the ESPN reporter had called the Lakers ace LeBron James an old man. He dished out some insults to Alan by calling him stupid and thrashing his takes on ESPN, following which he ended his post with his catchphrase.

The WWE legend himself has had a great career in professional entertainment wrestling. Having him as a supporter is an honor not every NBA player has the luxury of receiving.

Alan Hahn responds to Ric Flair and his LeBron James’ defense

After Ric Flair called out Alan Hahn on X, the ESPN reporter proved that he is not the quite type to ignore insults directed toward him. He reposted Flair’s post and quoted his reply on the same social media platform. Unlike Flair, Hahn’s response was in well-composed and full of respect, which went to show his class as a professional media person.

He is old. And as I said then he is still great. Just like you, Ric. Can’t wait for “Get up ESPN” tomorrow. I know you’ll be watching. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO,” wrote Alan on X.

The ESPN anchor highlighted that LeBron James is old and is still great just like Ric. He further added that he was very excited to give his full reply on ESPN’s “Get Up ESPN” show the following day.
