After enthusiastically cheering for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as he led the Kansas City Chiefs to Super Bowl triumph last season, reports suggest that Taylor Swift plans to be a frequent spectator next season as well.

The exciting relationship between the NFL’s star and the pop music sensation has captured sports and music fans’ fascination since it went public in September. Swift’s debut at a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium against the Chicago Bears marked the start of her regular appearances in the VIP box, totaling 13 games throughout the 2023 term.

Swifts presence in the stands during the memorable season for KC became an unexpected subplot. Broadcasters often caught glimpses of the “Anti Hero” singer during games with Kelce.

The scrutiny didn’t deter her, though. In fact, her visits shined a spotlight on football for new audiences, including her vast fanbase.

Now, an insider exclusively revealed to PEOPLE that Swift intends to continue supporting Kelce at his games next season. They stated: ” Football is definitely still his priority but so is his relationship. He makes romantic gestures to show he’s thinking of her when they’re apart. She’s going to try to attend as many games as possible.

“They have so much fun together, and it just works. It’s funny to their friends because at first everyone wondered what they had in common, but you realize how similar they are. They both wear their hearts on their sleeves and are all-in with everything they do, whether it’s with career, family or friends.”

 

Ever the consummate professional, the songstress informed her Liverpool audience on June 13 that she’s laser-focused on her global Eras Tour for the time being, with a schedule packed until December 8. She shared: “That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so fun for us.”

“It’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore because all I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups.”
