Taylor Swift won two awards at the Grammys, with the singer failing to mention her current boyfriend in her speeches, but fans think she made a veiled dig at her ex instead

Taylor Swift seemingly snubbed her current boyfriend Travis Kelce in her Grammys acceptance speech – but did however make an alleged veiled nod to her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

The 34-year-old hitmaker, who has been dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end since last summer, didn’t mention Travis in either of her Grammys 2024 acceptance speeches last night. Taylor won Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the awards last night, with both gongs awarded to her for her 2022 album Midnights.

While accepting each of her awards, Taylor did not utter a word about her current boyfriend, but did however announce that on April 19 she’d be releasing a brand new album – despite fans being convinced that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) was going to be

announced after weeks of speculation

When she picked up the gong for Best Pop Vocal Album – her first award of the night – Taylor gushed: “Okay, this is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that.”

She went on: “I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way, but I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.

So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I have been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out April 19th.”
