The Buffalo Bills are trading star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans this offseason. It wasn’t too long ago when Diggs began sharing those cryptic tweets about his uncertain future with the Bills, which led to all those trade rumors and now, it appears the rumors were true.

A source close to ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared this Wednesday, that the Bills are trading Diggs along with a 2024 sixth-rounder and a 2025 fifth in exchange for a second-round selection in 2025. After quarterback C.J. Stroud led the Texans to the divisional round in the playoffs last season, the franchise is making sure he has enough veteran talents to lead the team to the Super Bowl in 2024.

Acquiring the four-time Pro Bowler is one of the many solid offseason moves by Houston. Previously, they also traded for star running back Joe Mixon from the Cincinnati Bengals and inked star pass-rusher Danielle Hunter in a two-year contract.

On the other hand, the Bills now face a crisis with finding a pass rusher as talented as Diggs ahead of the 2024 season. One of the prime seasons for Diggs’ trade as many speculate is because of his feud with quarterback Josh Allen. Just recently, the star wideout took a shot at Allen, by replying to a fan disrespecting him, saying he isn’t essential to Allen’s success.

Ever since his and Allen’s drama hit the headlines, there have been speculations that Diggs might request a trade. After all, for a team’s success, the quarterback and receiver duo can’t survive being at the odds.
