An interesting Instagram post by Kansas City cornerback L’Jarius Sneed has sent social media into quite the frenzy.

Sneed is a pending free agent after completing his rookie deal. With the Chiefs up against the salary cap, and with superstar defensive tackle Chris Jones also in need of a new deal, Sneed is widely expected to hit the open market.

On his Instagram page, Sneed posted two images of himself with the caption being that of an “eagle” emoji:

So naturally, fans on social media are interpreting Sneed’s message as a sign that he could be Philadelphia Eagles-bound:

Sneed is coming off by far the best season of his career and promises to earn a nice payday, be it from Kansas City or another club. The two-time Super Bowl champion had two interceptions and 14 pass breakups in 2023, and he didn’t allow a single touchdown in coverage in the regular season.
