Not only is LeBron James the most hated NBA player in America, he also received the title of most hated athlete in the world and is extremely far behind the second place.
A unit specializing in surveying users on social networks called Pickwise recently published a list of the most hated athletes in the world, regardless of sport and region.
After collecting data for the last 12 months, Pickwise has full data and names of these 10 unlucky athletes. LeBron James is firmly at number 1 with 122,568 votes and far ahead of the remaining names.
The second person on this list is MU player Marcus Rashford but only has 32,328 votes, equal to a quarter of the anger fans have for King James.
Among the 9 most hated athletes, the NBA basketball tournament dominated with 4 names including Kevin Durant ranked fourth with 24,370 votes, Damian Lillard ranked 6th with 20,904 votes and finally Stephen Curry with 11,203 votes.
The question is why are NBA athletes hated more than other sports? It is not difficult to realize that the players’ free statements about politics and human rights touch many people and attract negative views.
Furthermore, the NBA is a tournament that honors many excellent individuals such as the four names LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard or Stephen Curry, and the better the players, the more jealousy they will receive from rival fans.
The above names are already on the list of the most hated players in America, so their move to the world is not too surprising.
