LeBron James seems to be unable to catch a break amidst all the challenges he and the Lakers have faced this NBA season. It’s as if bad luck is following him.

Just as the Los Angeles team begins to see glimpses of making it to the NBA playoffs or at least having a chance to enter the play-in tournament, Anthony Davis arrives as “the bearer of bad news.”

“The Brow” exited the game against the New Orleans Pelicans with back pain. This was evident when he approached the commentators’ table and spoke withLeBron James.

What happend to Anthony Davis?

Davis left the team’s final regular season with a little more than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter on Sunday. He walked slowly and cautiously to the scorer’s table after calling for a substitution.

“The initial belief is Anthony Davis experienced hip and back spasms after being pushed in the air by Larry Nance Jr. and landing awkwardly, a source familiar with the situation told ESPN,” McMenamin reported.

Davis’ availability for the Play-In Tournament will depend on the diagnosis of his injury. Davis also dealt with hip issues in November.

He hasn’t been able to consistently perform, despite being a force on the court. LeBron has yet to find his “Robin” to secure his fifth ring or at least keep the Lakers relevant and competitive.
