Rishi Sunak was spotted awkwardly waiting his turn to chat to the This Morning team while Britain’s most tattooed woman spoke in just her underwear.

The Prime Minister was looking uncomfortable in the background while Becky Holt relaxed on the sofa during questioning. Rishi, who risks losing his role as prime minister as election day looms, was sitting rigid on a bench in the background patiently waiting his turn.

While Becky sat in a plain white bikini with all her tattoos on show, Rishi was a lot more conservative with his wear, opting for beige trousers and a navy zip-neck sweater.

Fans online were loving the complete contrast in crossover between chats and took to Twitter /X to share the delight and bemusement. One user joked: “Watching This Morning and they are going from the most tattooed woman straight to Rishi Sunak himself. This country is a literal fever dream I swear to god.”

Another commented: “Britain’s most tattooed woman, followed by @RishiSunak is the most @thismorning thing ever! Lol”

When he did eventually get his moment in the spotlight, Rishi is said to have “looked wary”, according to a body language expert. Judi James revealed to the Mirror how his appearance saw him try to cover up his anxiety with “a non-verbal display of upbeat nonchalance”.

She explained: “His face powdered to a flat matte and wearing skinny slacks plus his now-trademark zip-neck sweater in the reassuringly business-like colour of deep navy, Sunak revealed a lingering fancy for a tattoo (his eyes closed as he mused on the design) and that his favourite meal is ‘sandwiches’.

“His eye expression looked wary during his intro and his smile sickly, with the lower lip dropped and the upper hiked up but with a tell-tale drooping of the very corners of the mouth suggesting a slow puncture of optimism despite his ‘I feel good!’ response when asked, Love Island-style ‘How are you feeling?’”

Judi also said Rishi’s decision to again mention his short sleep pattern appeared as though it was used as a “boast or a cry for pity and sympathy”.

“Overall he looked awkward or as though he was feeling awkward and trying to cover the awkwardness with a non-verbal display of upbeat nonchalance,” she added.
