Rishi Sunak earned no reprieve as ITV viewers at home were critical of his latest TV appearance.

The Prime Minister, 44, is less than a day away from potentially being booted out of No.10 Downing Street as Brits will head to the polls this Thursday, July 4.

But with the Conservative Party at a low favourability, Rishi Sunak left no room for mistakes as he was all smiles during his appearance on This Morning this Wednesday.

Rishi Sunak was introduced to viewers ahead of his interview just as the presenters, Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, waved goodbye to Britain’s most tattooed mother.

Unfortunately for him, the sight of him sparked anger as a multitude of viewers swarmed over to X, otherwise known as Twitter, and held nothing back.

“Aw bless poor Rishi, gearing himself up for a devastating loss tomorrow, pack yer bags hun”, one viewer commented, while another added: “I love that they had Rishi Sunak just sitting in the background while this lady was being interviewed! How awkward did he look!”

A third commented: “I think Rishi was a bit bewildered”, just as a fourth dreaded: “Oh no…not this clown Rishi Sunak”, and things only got worse when Rishi’s interview started as frustration reached another level.

One TV watcher penned: “Rishi Sunak is just a another clown your time is coming towards the end as uk prime minister.”

Another echoed: “Rishi walk away …. This is just desperate”, while one viewer branded him “weak”, writing: “Rishi Sunak not actually giving ANY reasons TO vote for the Conservatives. All he’s got it weak reasons NOT to vote for Labour. Weak, weak, weak.”

Another was displeased to see Rishi dodge accountability as he was confronted by Ben Shephard over his latest scandals: “Ben hitting #RishiSunak with a wet fish here about ‘integrity’, leaving the #DDay commemorations early and betting on the election. #RishiSunak swerves saying he’s trustworthy regardless. #ThisMorning Literally lies fall out of Rishi’s mouth like a leaky incontinence pad.”

A final fan pleaded with This Morning bosses: “Can we get him off now I’d rather have Roland Rat in charge over Rishi Sunak.”

In recent news, Rishi called for Boris Johnson’s help and his predecessor made a surprise appearance at a Tory rally in an attempt to gather voters around their cause but Sir Keir Starmer revealed he was “not worried in the slightest.”
