His appearance on the ITV reboot sparked fears from fans that he was planning to quit his day job.

But speaking on Loose Women today, Nikita cleared up the rumours – insisting he’s not going anywhere.

“I love Strictly”, said Nikita.

“It’s the only reason I’m here and why I was on Celebrity Big Brother in the first place. They are my family and I love every single one of them.

“I hope to be back every single year up until I can or until they want me.”

Earlier on, Nikita threw Loose Women into chaos by accidentally swearing on live telly.

Host Ruth Langsford was force to apologise to ITV viewers over the lunchtime blunder.

Looking back on his experience, Nikita was questioned about his clashes with Fern Britton – admitting he was shocked to see the moment Fern smacked her head on the sofa was aired.

He said: “I did not forget we were getting filmed, but I thought most of it was going to get cut.

“So when I came out everyone was like, ‘oh so you knocked out Fern’.

“I was like s***.”

Nikita gasped and covered his mouth, adding: “I’m sorry. I forgot I’m on live telly and not in Big Brother.”
