It comes after Cat was left feeling outraged on This Morning during a money-saving segment with Jordon Cox after she discovered there is a pink tax on products advertised to women.

This Morning’s Coupon King Jordon appeared on the ITV programme on Wednesday to share his latest money-saving tips with Cat and Ben.

The pink tax is not a tax in the literal sense. It refers to women paying more for the same, or similar, products and services than men.

During the show, Jordon let both of the presenters know that the pink tax wasn’t always applied to products, however, he added that it ‘still happens a little bit’.

He also revealed that if a woman bought a pack of razors she would be buying fewer razors than her male counterpart, despite paying more than him.

Female buyers also pay more for the fragrance and colour of a razor which left Cat sarcastically laughing.

Jordon then made the same distinction with shaving cream and Cat was no longer able to contain her dismay.

She raged: ‘I’m fuming! I’m fuming with this pink tax,’ before adding ‘I am thoroughly irritated, definitely putting that one in the bag.’

The presenter then threw the tube of shaving cream she was holding in the bin before admitting she grew into the habit of buying ‘little boy socks’ to avoid the tax.
