The 2024 Oscars are a go, and various A-list celebrities have made their presence at the ceremony. Jimmy Kimmel returned as host and delivered a great monologue as always.
Everyone is brimming as Hollywood celebrates the best of film in 2023.
The first award that was handed out was the Best Supporting Actress award, which went to Da’Vine Joy Randolph for The Holdovers.
Kimmel handed out the award for Best Costume Design. However, things took a hilarious turn when John Cena turned up na*ed, which had the crowd and even Margot Robbie in splits.

The 2024 Oscars are in full swing, and various awards are being handed out with great anticipation. Host Jimmy Kimmel started the ceremony with a great monologue and even gave an award for Best Costume Design.
However, audiences did not expect John Cena to turn up na*ed on stage, and his co-star Barbie Margot Robbie couldn’t stop laughing.
Cena has always been a comic delight, and this act crackled the audiences as he tried to cover his body with only an Oscar envelope.
The crowd was hysterical, and so was Kimmel. It was a great and creative way to hand out the award for Best Costume Design. (via X)
The award went to Poor Things and much deservedly so. Yorgos Lanthimos created a fascinating world, and his colorful and bright costumes were a big part in bringing that world to life.

The actress was stunned and clearly emotional as she accepted the coveted award and gave an emotional speech.
“I didn’t think I was supposed to be doing this as a career. And my mother said to me, ‘Go across that street to that theatre department. There’s something or you there. And I thank my mother for doing that”
The win was a deserved one, and everyone in the crowd cheered for her as she received the award. It is amazing that she won her first award in her first nomination ever. Audiences can watch her incredible performance in The Holdovers on Amazon Prime.
