Peacemaker Season 2 will have a “new intro” with “new characters”, says James Gunn
Get ready for another epic TV show intro! Peacemaker, starring John Cena, treated audiences to one of the most memorable opening sequences in television history. Whether you’ve seen the series or not, chances are you’ve caught a glimpse of its captivating intro.
However, with the events of the first season behind us, DC Universe chief James Gunn has revealed that a new intro is in the works for season two – and it will feature “new characters.” Gunn confirmed this in response to a fan’s query about the upcoming season’s intro, stating, “A lot of dancing people died first season. A new intro with new characters will be coming.”
In light of the characters who met their demise in season one, one fan suggested in the comments: “Hire the actors back, just to lay there for the intro as dead bodies. No one else in the intro acknowledges it.” Now that would be quite the twist!
As anticipation builds for season two, scheduled to premiere on July 11, 2025, viewers can expect another visually stunning and immersive introduction to the world of Peacemaker.
