Marvin Harrison Jr. is making it known where he wants to be drafted to next month.

Many draft experts have thought Marvin Harrison Jr. would be the first wide receiver taken in the 2024 NFL Draft and that might up end up being the case unless some trades happen that we do not know will happen as of yet.

The Arizona Cardinals are willing to trade the No. 4 overall pick in next month’s NFL draft, as the rumor they are open for business came out this week. Should they keep that pick, they should know that Marvin Harrison Jr. has chosen them as the team he wants to play for.

That news was delivered from Paris Johnson, who is currently the offensive tackle for the Arizona Cardinals who played at Ohio State and was selected by the Cardinals sixth overall in the 2023 NFL draft.

He clearly has a relationship with the star wide receiver.

Marvin Harrison Jr. decided he wasn’t going to do very much leading up to the draft, but he did meet with nine franchises who were fine with him skipping combine and pro day workouts, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer.

One of those nine teams was the Arizona Cardinals.

“All this spring prep and draft prep, I think that’s really a personal decision that players have to make,” Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort said Wednesday. “I’m a big fan of the more good information we can have in the draft process, the better.

“But it’s not going to be the first time that a player doesn’t check off every box for the spring process. It won’t be the last time. In Marvin’s case, it’s his decision in what he thought was best for him. We respect that and we’ll continue our evaluation process not only on him but on every draft prospect. We’ll evaluate the best we can with the information that we have.”

Marvin Harrison Jr. Was An All-Time WR Playing At Ohio State

Marvin Harrison Jr. might be the next big thing in the NFL after the year he put in during college.

Harrison Jr. has the sixth-most receptions in Ohio State history. Harrison finishes his Ohio State career with the sixth-most receptions in program history. In three seasons, Harrison brought in 155 catches, including 77 receptions in 2022 and 67 catches in 2023.

Harrison will go down in history as one of Ohio State’s top receivers and just might put in the work to be just as good if not better than his father was at the position.
