The Warriors are close to losing out on a spot in the postseason following another loss.
Draymond Green
After the Warriors’ loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Draymond Green said he doesn’t care about the Houston Rockets, who are now closer to them in the hotly contested Western Conference standings. The Dubs lost for the second game in a row to current Western Conference No. 3 seed.
The Golden State Warriors lost 114-110 away at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the home court of Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves. The Warriors have struggled for consistency, winning two and losing three in their last five games. Draymond Green ended the game with 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists, but it wasn’t enough to prevent another sad loss.
The veteran, appearing frustrated, was asked a couple of questions and even admitted they’ve been losing many games, games they’re supposed to be winning. And when asked how much he is tracking Houston, who is giving them a hot chase behind, his response was candid and straightforward.
I don't give a damn about the Rockets.Green said
The Warriors are currently 10th in the Western Conference and, having dropped precious points once again against the T-Wolves, find themselves one game ahead of the Rockets, the league’s in-form team with five straight wins on the bounce. The Warriors have themselves to blame, though. For their next game they travel to the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, to face the Miami Heat.

Golden State Warriors falter once again in race for NBA Playoffs spot
Last night, the Golden State Warriors fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves despite having led the game by eight points (54-46) at the end of the first half. Steph Curry led the player statistics chart with 31 points, four rebounds, and three assists, and T-Wolves young star Anthony Edwards had 23 points, six rebounds, and eight assists.
Unlike Green, who doesn’t seem to care about the activities below the standings, teammate Curry does, and he made this known when speaking after the game. He said:
Every game matters. We're inching closer to the other end of the standings that we never thought we would be in. So, nobody’s gonna wave the white flag.Green added
The Warriors must step up to make it to the NBA postseason. The Rockets, led by Ime Udoka, are giving them a run for their money, and fans of both sides expect a pulsating game experience moving forward. Both teams meet on the 5th of April at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, in what might be the game that decides who makes it to the postseason.
