It’s been over two decades since we lost one-third of the iconic TLC, Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, and her loss is still felt in the music scene… And to this day, theories about the bizarre accident that took Lisa’s life are drawing attention – not just from fans but also from industry heavyweights like Katt Williams who seems to think that a lot of these so-called accidents in the entertainment world are not “accidental” at all.

Lisa lost her life in 2002 in a tragic car crash in Honduras and as news of Lisa’s passing spread, whispers started swirling that the official narrative of her death didn’t add up. Some folks in the industry even began drawing connections between Lisa’s untimely demise and the tragic loss of Aaliyah, who passed away almost a year to the day before Lisa.

And here’s where it gets even more intriguing: new details have recently emerged suggesting that Lisa’s death could be linked to something darker – rumors of industry sacrifice and names like Clive Davis are being tossed around…

When these rappers reach a certain level of success, someone might make around a hundred million dollars and then no longer have to associate with that artist or their crew or fulfill any of their contractual obligations. This means that every time an album is sold, the record company gets a significant portion, leaving the artists with relatively little.

Take TLC for example, who received only 56 cents per album sold, despite selling millions. Even though this might seem like a lot of money, it’s significantly reduced after accounting for recording expenses. As for the omission of Clive Davis’s role in the biopic, there was a brief mention, but it’s challenging to include every detail in a film spanning over two decades since Lisa Left Eye Lopez’s tragic passing.

Rumors and theories surrounding her death persist, with some suggesting connections to other industry deaths like Aaliyah’s, hinting at something more sinister than just accidents. These speculations often revolve around the idea of industry sacrifices and involve prominent figures like Clive Davis and Diddy.

Despite the intrigue, the truth behind Lisa’s death remains elusive, leaving fans to speculate and draw their own conclusions.

Katt Williams has become a viral talking point on social media, after he claimed in a new interview that his and Ludacris’ fates in Hollywood were decided at a meeting with “the Illuminati.”

Comedian Williams sat down for a lengthy interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, during which he made the wild claim that rapper and actor Ludacris landed his role in the Fast & Furious film series by making a clandestine deal.

Williams said that the deal was determined by unnamed members of the Illuminati. Over the years, countless conspiracy theorists have expressed their unfounded beliefs in an Illuminati class of ruling elites who control Hollywood and the world.

The conversation started when Williams was asked by Sharpe if he was related to Ludacris, whose real name is Christopher Bridges.

“No,” Williams responded, before proceeding to share his allegations. “So there was a crossroads where we were both invited to an Illuminati thing. And it had to be one or the other of us and decisions had to be made. So it was both of us. We were equal.

“One of us had to cut off all their hair and couldn’t do the sideburn thing no more with the points. And the next person they said was going to get $200 million because they were going to pay him 10 million a movie to do 20 movies. And that’s how the conversation happened.”

Clarifying who he claimed took the deal, he went on: “One of those persons turned out to be Ludacris and the other person turned out to be Katt Williams.”

Williams then took things a step forward by saying that “one person ended up with a light-skinned ugly face wife,” adding that it’s “part of what they give you.”

“I didn’t get it. I’m not mad about it,” he said.

Newsweek has contacted a representative of Ludacris via email for comment.

“Kevin told you you wasn’t gonna wear no dress until they offered them the dress and then he put it on,” Williams added in his interview with Sharpe. “And what did he say after he wore it? ‘I made my own decision.’ But you didn’t make it before they brought it up, did you?”

Williams’ dress comment appeared to be in reference to fellow comedian Kevin Hart dressing up as actor Quvenzhane Wallis during an appearance on Saturday Night Live back in 2013.

Hart defended his decision in a post shared on X, formerly Twitter, at the time, writing on the platform: “I WORE A DRESS ON SNL because I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY!!! I made that

decision…NOBODY MADE IT FOR ME…I AM MY OWN BOSS!!!”

The snippet of Williams talking about Ludacris was shared on X, where a number of users weighed in with their thoughts on the comedian’s comments. One post, captioned “Katt Williams exposing Hollywood,” has received over 650,000 views.

“Katt Williams said him and Ludacris was in an illuminati meeting!! Lawd!!!” wrote one viewer, who added a GIF to illustrate their amusement at the claim.

“There is a part of the Katt Williams interview where he talks about Ludacris and I am SHOCKED that no one has said anything about it yet,” another said.

“There are probably pockets of truth in his other stories but this was an obvious lie and really should’ve taken away any credibility that y’all think he has,” they added.

“Not Katt Williams & Ludacris going to an illuminati meeting to decide their fate in Hollywood!!!” commented another, who added a GIF of Wendy Williams to their post.

Other X users expressed their disbelief at Williams’ comments about Ludacris’ wife, with one stating: “I was believing everything and seeing all the points Katt Williams was making till he said Ludacris’ wife is ugly, then I clocked he’s a bitter old f***…. That woman is so far from ugly.”

Elsewhere in his appearance on Club Shay Shay, Williams criticized a number of his fellow comedians, including Steve Harvey, Michael Blackson, Rickey Smiley, and Faizon Love.

He also accused Cedric the Entertainer of stealing one of his jokes, telling Sharpe: “He thought that I was just a no-name comedian, and that he could take this joke and nobody would know. The issue was that I had already done this particular joke on BET’s ComicView twice.

“Cedric comes to The Comedy Store [in Los Angeles], he watches me in the audience, he comes backstage, he tells me what a great job I did and how much he loves the joke. Two years later, he’s doing that as his last joke on The [Original] Kings Of Comedy and he’s doing it verbatim. He just changed my car into a spaceship.”

Shortly after Williams’ comments went live, Cedric the Entertainer, whose real name is Cedric Kyles, took to the comments section of Club Shay Shay‘s Instagram preview, where he branded the accusation “revisionist history.”

“Regardless of whatever Katt’s opinion, My career can’t be reduced to One Joke Katt Williams claims as his,” he stated. “I been over 40 movies, my specials and brand speaks volumes for I am. The [people] I have put on including ‘Katt in the Hat’ [Williams] At the Gibson Amphitheater.”
