Matt Reeves‘ The Batman Part II has received an exciting casting update amidst the delay reports.

According to BreakingFilm, the Narcos star Boyd Holbrook is reportedly set to play the role of Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face, in The Batman Part II.

Holbrook was initially unavailable for production due to prior commitments, including roles in James Mangold’s A Complete Unknown and Andrew Levitas’ Last Meals.

However, with the film’s delay, his schedule cleared up for the tentative filming dates.

Despite the rumours, it’s important to note that there’s no official confirmation from DC Studios or the actor himself in this regard. So this news must be taken with a grain of salt.

Holbrook has previously demonstrated his versatility and talent in antagonistic roles, notably in Logan and Narcos, which could make him a compelling choice for the role of Two-Face.

However, the casting process for The Batman Part II is still ongoing, and the script’s status remains unclear, indicating that the final cast list may not be fully determined yet.

While the plot details for The Batman Part II are kept under wraps, the sequel is set to delve into Gotham’s rebuilding efforts following Carmine Falcone’s death amidst rampant chaos and corruption.

The confirmed cast for The Batman sequel includes Robert Pattinson reprising his role as Batman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.

The Batman: Part II is now set to hit theatres on October 2, 2026.
