According to NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, if LeBron James’ kid can make it into the league, he already knows what to expect from his rookie year. According to Woj, the team he joins will probably assign him to a G-League affiliate.
No matter where Bronny James is selected in the draft, the team that selects him can assign him to the G-League at any point while sometimes bringing him to the main squad to get some important experience.
If Bronny is not selected in the draft, he can still sign as an unrestricted free agent and join an NBA franchise. If this occurs, he’ll probably sign a two-way deal to play in the G-League most of the time.
Per Sports Reference, Bronny averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game during his first year at USC. He is predicted to go in the second round or perhaps go undrafted because they are some of the lower stats for the 2024 NBA Draft Class.
