LOVE Island icon Kady McDermott has spoken out against the show, admitting that she’s not enjoying it.

As the ITV2 hit dating show continues, Kady – who has been on the show twice – admitted that she’s not tuning in as much as she used to.

Speaking on Instagram, Kady was asked a question about her thoughts on this year’s antics, prompting her to respond: “Not been watching it religiously but when I’m in I’ll put it on!”

“Not really enjoying it much this year tbh it’s kind of just background noise,” she added.

“Plus I loved Harriett, she was just unintentionally funny so sad she’s [gone].”

Harriett Blackmore was dumped last week in a savage exit alongside Ronnie Vint.

The couple got the least number of votes for favourite couple from the public, causing the pair to be automatically booted.

Kady knows the Love Island game all too well – first appearing on the series in 2016 and making it to the final alongside Scott Thomas.

Seven years later, Kady made her return to try for luck again, entering last year’s villa as one of the bombshells.

However, her time on the show didn’t prove anywhere near as successful as her first run, and she was booted alongside three other contestants a week before the finale.

Exiting the villa with Ouzy See, just weeks later Kady confirmed they’d split, hinting that the break-up was his fault.

She also kicked off a bitter feud with another islander, Mitch Taylor, after leaving the show, when Mitch accused bombshell Kady of having a secret boyfriend on the outside.

The war of words escalated to the point she even threatened legal action against him.

She later disappeared from social media to “take a break” from the spotlight, before ruling out any further returns to the series.

“Absolutely not,” she wrote online. “Love the show and everyone who works on it, will never speak badly of it as it changed my life in 2016 but twice is MORE than enough.”
