On Easter Saturday, a car registered in the name of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice met with an accident on the 6600 block of North Central Expressway. Three men were seen leaving the scene soon after.
Dallas Police reported that two speeding cars—a Chevrolet Corvette and a Lamborghini SUV—were racing each other when a black SUV swerved onto the highway’s shoulder. As a result, it hit the center-median wall divider, which caused a chain reaction involving four additional cars.
The Dallas Fire Department arrived at the scene to find some of the occupants of the totaled cars injured. After administering first aid, they were admitted to the nearby hospital.
Did Rashee Rice flee from the scene of the accident?
Before the police made it to the spot, the drivers of the Lamborghini and the Corvette were nowhere to be seen. Later, footage surfaced on social media, providing evidence that three men came out of the SUV and walked away from the spot.

One of them was wearing a red scarf on his head. People on X (formerly Twitter) speculated that the man was none other than Rashee Rice himself.
However, at the time of writing, it’s still guesswork and nothing concrete about the 23-year-old’s presidency has emerged. However, it did not deter anyone from speaking their mind as to what the Kansas City Chiefs should do with Rice.
Sharing a wide spectrum of reactions online, here’s what fans have to say:
While the police are still tracking down Rice, the chiefs continue to remain silent on the matter. On the other hand, a spokesperson from his Dallas college football team, the SMU Mustangs, claimed that they are gathering more information.
Rice played four seasons with the Mustangs, from 2019 to 2022. His best outing came during his senior year, when he caught 96 passes for 1355 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Kansas City Chiefs selected him during the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
During his first year at Arrowhead, he wasn’t projected to get many chances, but due to the shortage of receivers, head coach Andy Reid took a shot, which paid off. Rice played all 6 games, starting 8, catching 79 passes for 938 yards and 7 touchdowns. Additionally, he registered 26 catches for 262 yards and one touchdown in the postseason, helping the Chiefs win a back-to-back Super Bowl.
