Lauren Goodger recently opened up about the challenges of co-parenting with her ex Charles Drury.

The former TOWIE star welcomed daughter Larose in July 2021 with the footballer, but after falling pregnant just three months later, their second daughter Lorena tragically lost her life.

Charles and Lauren’s relationship was a turbulent one, with the couple splitting shortly after he was accused of attacking her on the day of Lorena’s funeral. The charges against him were later dropped.

Even before that, he was also known for a steamy fling with Katie Price, later claiming they enjoyed a ‘cocaine-fuelled romp’.

The builder and mother-of-five met when she was reportedly still with Kris Boyson leading to heartache.

The pair first met on Instagram before enjoying a steamy night in a hotel in the Cotswolds, with Katie then flying Charles out to Turkey with her.

After Katie ended their fling and opted to rekindle her romance with Kris, Charles hit out at the star.

In a cruel interview, Charles branded Katie a zero-to-one out of ten in the bedroom and called her a ‘lazy lover’ after they had spent the evening bingeing on drinks and drugs.

He told The Sun that drugs were already there when he arrived and said when he woke up in the morning, Katie still hadn’t gone to bed.

He said: ‘We had a few drinks to relax and then headed up to the hotel room where we had even more and that’s when things started to get intimate for the first time.’

Charles said he found the night ‘disappointing’ and an ‘anti-climax’.

He said: ‘She was still wide awake the morning after. The hotel was a mess, so whatever she was up to in the night, I was sleeping through.’

He did defend her by saying is a good mother but is using drugs to cope, but claims she is ‘all over the place’.

A spokesperson for Katie Price told MailOnline: ‘There is no truth in the allegation that she is taking drugs every day and has made significant steps to being drug free.

‘There have been lapses in the past but they are just that, not a regular event. Katie is still in recovery and making progress.’

Charles went onto begin dating Lauren in 2021, with the pair documenting their relationship through a slew of loved-up social media posts.

Charles was charged with assault and engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour towards his ex, which he denied.

The case was dropped earlier this year after Lauren withdrew her support for the case, meaning a not guilty verdict was recorded for both charges.

Being pragmatic in her approach to co-parenting, Lauren explained: ‘It has not been easy, but we’re at a place at the minute where it is running smoothly. Charles sees Larose very regularly.

‘It’s a lot of travelling for me because he lives 3.5 hours away, and I meet him in the middle. It’s not ideal but it is what it is.’
