The Mysterious girl hitmaker recently took to his Instagram Stories to reveal heavily pregnant Emily was suffering Braxton Hicks contractions as she neared her due date.

He posted a video as Emily showcased her blossoming bump which she cradled ahead of welcoming the couple’s third child.

In the clip, Peter gushed over his ‘cute’ wife while playfully documenting the contractions branding them ‘Toni Braxtons’ after the famed American singer.

Braxton Hicks occurs towards the end of the pregnancy and sees the womb tighten and relax to cause contractions.

‘She’s having a Toni Braxton guys!’ Peter joked as Emily blamed him for her predicament shouting: ‘It’s because you made me laugh!’.

It comes after Peter and Emily celebrated his 51st birthday and enjoyed a babymoon at Champneys Forest Mere last month.

The couple took to Instagram to share a glimpse of their lavish stay at the Hampshire spa with Emily showing  off her growing baby bump.

The television personality and the doctor announced that they were expecting a third child together in October 2023.

Emily admitted on Lorraine this month that she was finding pregnancy a lot harder this time around, attributing it to being a bit older.

However, she said she was still enjoying the pregnancy and savouring the remaining weeks with the baby whom Peter hopes will be a boy.

Peter told the Loose women panellists: ‘I’ve had both and technically this will be the sixth set of nappies I’ve changed, I don’t mind, but preferably a boy.’

In January, Peter confirmed that Emily will be giving birth in ‘eight or nine weeks’, co-signed by Emily who revealed earlier on in the month that she was ‘counting down the next three months’.

Emily said of her pregnancy: ‘It’s been harder and I don’t know if it’s because I’m older or because I have two kids already. It has definitely been a little bit more challenging but I think that’s going to be expected isn’t it.

‘The more pregnancies you have I guess that get a little bit more challenging but I love it and it’s a precious time and I can’t believe it’s coming to an end which makes me think I really need to relish these times.’

She added: ‘We are mostly ready. Peter is so hands on, he’s making sure I don’t carry anything and he’s helping me up the stairs, all of these things.’
